Ingredients:
For the Grind Masala :
 1/2 Medium onion
 1 cup Grated Coconut
 10 beadgi chillies
 1 tbsp Coriander seeds
 1 tsp Turmeric powder
 6 Tamarind
 1/2 cup water
Others Ingredients:
 1/2 cup Dry fish (Smelt fish) you can use any dry fish
 2 tbsp Oil
 1/2 Medium onion
 5 pcs Kokam (optional)
 1 tsp Salt
 1/2 cup water

I'm using smelt fish for this recipe, you can use any dry fish. The procedure is the same.

Remove fish heads and soak the dry fish in the water. for become soft the fish.

Add grind ingredients to the mixer jar, Grind to a smooth paste. keep the paste aside.

Heat 1 tbsp oil in a pan, add chopped onion stir well. saute for 1 minute.

Add Grind paste and mix it well.

Add Salt as per taste.

Add water for gravy consistency and cook till becomes boil the gravy.

Add Kokam and soaked fish. cook for 5 minutes more on medium flame.
